Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school psychologist serving students in a single building near Strongsville, OH for the 2026-2027 academic year. With a start in late August and a conclusion in early June, you’ll provide expert assessment, intervention, and support that make a real difference for students’ academic and emotional success. This full-time role offers a manageable caseload of 40-50 students, focusing on evaluations, IEP development, and targeted interventions in a collaborative, student-focused environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and current School Psychologist certification for Ohio.
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Prior experience with school-aged populations, including conducting evaluations, implementing and monitoring IEPs, and delivering tiered interventions.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, emotional/behavioral assessment tools, and best practices for student support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for referred students.
  • Develop and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Design and facilitate targeted group and individual interventions.
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents/guardians to support student progress.
  • Contribute expertise to Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and response-to-intervention (RTI) processes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
