Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, valid Physical Therapist license and eligibility to practice.
  • Prior experience working in school environments or with pediatric populations is highly desired.
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and development of individualized therapy goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and execute therapy plans within a diverse school community.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ physical abilities and needs within the school setting.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans, collaborating with educators and families.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, adjusting plans as needed to ensure optimal progress.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal standards.
  • Provide consultation and training for school staff to support student success in the classroom.
