School Psychologist - Seaford, DE

Make a significant impact supporting PreK students as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational setting near Seaford, DE. This is a contract opportunity spanning the academic year, from August 24th through June 11th, working full-time hours (37.5 per week).

In this role, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to foster student success, development, and well-being. Your expertise will help shape individualized educational strategies and connect students with the resources they need to thrive.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with early childhood and/or PreK student populations preferred
• Strong understanding of psychological assessments, intervention strategies, and educational planning
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for PreK students
• Develop recommendations for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support social, emotional, and behavioral development
• Deliver direct and consultative intervention services
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative school climate
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in alignment with district and regulatory guidelines
