Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school students as a School Psychologist in a vibrant educational community. This full-time, in-person role runs from August 24, 2026, through June 16, 2027, and is dedicated to making an impact in the lives of adolescents.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Delaware (DE) School Psychologist license required (must be current at time of application)
- Prior experience working as a school psychologist, preferably in a high school setting
- Strong skills in psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Experience with report writing, IEP meeting participation, and collaborative support of student needs
- Comfortable working onsite five days per week; reliable transportation necessary
- Able to complete state fingerprinting process quickly (willing to pay upfront)
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations to inform interventions and special education eligibility
- Write clear, comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommendations
- Participate as a vital member of IEP teams, providing insight and advocacy for high school students’ social, emotional, and academic growth
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to foster supportive learning environments
- Contribute your expertise to creating solutions for diverse student populations
The position is exclusively full-time and in-person, offering the chance to build genuine connections within the school community. Flexible, hybrid, or remote schedules are not available.
