Step into an impactful role supporting high school students as a contracted school psychologist for the 2026–2027 academic year. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity dedicated to delivering psychological services within a vibrant educational setting. What you’ll bring:
- Active Delaware (DE) School Psychologist license (required at application)
- Previous experience within school settings, particularly at the high school level, strongly preferred
- Demonstrated skill in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive assessments
- Solid background in report writing and documenting student progress
- Participation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and familiarity with multidisciplinary collaboration
- Comfort working consistently onsite, full-time—Monday through Friday
- Reliable transportation to fulfill in-person attendance five days per week
- Willingness to complete necessary fingerprinting upon hire
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing psychoeducational evaluations for high school students, utilizing best practices and standardized tools
- Compiling formal reports summarizing assessment results and actionable recommendations
- Acting as a core member of IEP teams and collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student needs are met
- Engaging with district staff to coordinate and deliver student-focused interventions or support services
- Upholding confidentiality, compliance, and ethical standards in every aspect of your work
