Job Description
Bring your expertise in school psychology to an impactful, part-time contract opportunity supporting elementary students near Parker and Franktown, CO. In this role, you will provide crucial psychological services one day per week at each of two elementary schools, partnering with educators, families, and special education staff to ensure every child's needs are understood and addressed.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as a School Psychologist in Colorado
- Previous experience in elementary school settings is highly valued
- Knowledge of special education law and assessment tools
- Strong skills in administering and interpreting psychoeducational evaluations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering positive, supportive school environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive special education assessments to guide eligibility and programming decisions
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning and behavioral needs
- Develop data-driven recommendations and interventions for individual students
- Support IEP development and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Contribute to a positive school culture through social-emotional and behavioral support initiatives
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all evaluations and services provided
