Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students, families, and staff as an onsite School Psychologist for a PreK–8 campus. Key Qualifications:
- At least one year of classroom-related experience (essential for understanding student needs)
- Possession of Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist licensure, or currently in the process of obtaining it
- Experience working directly with PreK–8 students, utilizing both group and individualized interventions
- Strong skills in collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
- Demonstrated abilities in assessments, progress monitoring, and providing counseling or behavioral support as needed
- Capable of participating in professional development, conferences, and school events
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services including academic, social, and behavioral evaluations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention planning
- Consult with faculty, staff, and guardians to foster a safe and inclusive school environment
- Support students through counseling, skill-building, crisis intervention, and classroom guidance
- Participate in all teacher development days, professional learning, and parent-teacher conferences as assigned
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and comply with state/federal regulations
