This full-time, onsite contract position spans Field and Hopkins Elementary Schools, offering you the chance to make a measurable impact within a welcoming educational community. You'll collaborate daily with educators, administrators, and families, serving a caseload of approximately 40 students in need of your expertise.
Ideal candidates hold a Professional Special Services License from the Colorado Department of Education or have already applied for licensure. Exceptional communication and interview skills are essential, as you'll engage in a two-interview hiring process with key school leadership. Key Qualifications:
- Current (or applied) Professional Special Services License through Colorado Department of Education
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings, especially in elementary grades
- Strong interview and self-presentation skills
- Proven ability to develop effective support plans for diverse student needs
- Energetic, engaging, and positive attitude
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning
- Collaborate with SPED team, teachers, and families to develop student IEPs
- Deliver individual and small-group counseling
- Support crisis intervention and behavior management
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive school climate
This onsite-only position is a contract role through the end of the 2026-2027 school year.
