Bring your expertise and passion for speech-language pathology to a vibrant school community near Belle Plaine, MN. As a contract SLP (with CCC), you’ll have the chance to make a profound impact on students’ communication skills throughout an engaging and supportive academic year.

You’ll partner closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to help students reach their fullest potential. The position is structured for 40 hours per week over approximately 175 working days, aligning with the full school calendar. Workshop week kicks off August 31, and students begin September 10, setting you up for a smooth, well-supported start.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current license and Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Prior experience providing speech and language services in a K-12 setting preferred
  • Ability to tailor interventions for diverse student needs and learning styles
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage a caseload of around 45 students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 45 students
  • Deliver services primarily in Lonsdale, with occasional coverage in Montgomery as needed
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district policies
  • Facilitate effective communication with students, families, and educational staff
