School-Based Social Worker - Bronson, Michigan

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Michigan School Social Worker License is required
• Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Strong communication, advocacy, and organizational skills
• Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Compassion and professionalism in supporting diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling to students, fostering academic and social success
• Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies and support plans
• Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral management as needed
• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation related to student support and progress
• Provide referrals for community resources and advocate for student needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans
