Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting elementary and middle school students during a maternity leave period this fall. This full-time, onsite role runs from September 4, 2026, through December 11, 2026, offering valuable hands-on experience in a collaborative educational environment near Waukegan, IL.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Active Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license (required)
  • SLP-CCC certification and school-based SLP experience
  • Prior experience with elementary and middle school caseloads
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
  • Comfortable working fully onsite (remote/voco not considered)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for assigned students
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in compliance with district and state standards
  • Provide recommendations and support for classroom teachers and caregivers
