Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with early childhood populations
- Comfortable providing speech and language evaluations, including through teletherapy platforms
- Fluency in Ukrainian and English is required
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete timely and comprehensive speech-language evaluations for a kindergarten student, using best practices in assessment
- Develop recommendations and documentation that align with school and state guidelines
- Deliver services via teletherapy as needed, adapting tools and approaches to engage young children remotely
- Work closely with classroom teachers and special education teams to facilitate student success
- Offer family guidance and consultation to support carryover of communication strategies in the home environment
