Qualifications:

  • Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Connecticut or eligibility
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcome
  • Experience in school settings or with school-age children highly desirable
  • Strong assessment, therapy planning, and documentation skills
  • Compassionate communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality speech and language services to high school students, adapting interventions to individual needs
  • Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders within the school setting
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and allied professionals to maximize student success
  • Develop and implement IEP goals, participate in meetings, and maintain accurate records
