Make an impact supporting students’ growth at a vibrant PK-8th grade school in the Erie, CO area. This contract opportunity is perfect for a motivated school psychologist who thrives in a collaborative school setting, is committed to professional development, and values building relationships with students and staff.

You’ll be a key member of a student support team, working onsite full-time for 35 hours per week (excluding unpaid lunch), across approximately 185 days during the academic year—including teacher in-service, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences as needed.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of classroom experience, enabling confident, independent work within a school environment
  • Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license, or actively in the process of obtaining one (required for application review)
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills with children from pre-K through 8th grade
  • Effective written and verbal communication with students, staff, and families
  • Collaborative approach to implementing Tier 1-3 interventions and supporting Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological services including evaluations, behavior intervention planning, and crisis response
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and monitor behavior, emotional, and academic support plans
  • Deliver counseling and social-emotional learning to students at multiple grade levels
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture through ongoing professional development and active involvement in school activities
