Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing high-quality speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to support students’ communication development and collaborate with dedicated educational professionals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure as required for school-based practice
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred, with a strong understanding of IEP development and case management
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments, interpreting and reporting findings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing speech, language, and communication goals
  • Provide both direct and consultative therapy services to students in various educational settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to maximize student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district policies and legal requirements
  • Serve as a resource for staff on speech-language topics and effective classroom strategies
