Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist for a leading district in North Carolina. This opportunity is perfect for clinicians passionate about helping children reach their communication goals in an engaging, school-based setting. Work closely with a supportive educational team at an elementary school, providing vital therapy services and collaborating with teachers, staff, and families.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered
  • Recent experience working in schools or educational settings is highly recommended
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
  • Genuine enthusiasm for fostering student growth and success

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive onsite speech and language therapy services to elementary students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct thorough assessments and create targeted treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning
  • Maintain detailed student records and progress notes in compliance with district guidelines
  • Communicate regularly with families and staff regarding student progress
  • Serve as a resource for school community regarding speech and language development
