Occupational Therapist School Setting in Reseda, CA

Step into an important role supporting TK-12 students in a vibrant school setting near Reseda, CA. This contract opportunity engages Occupational Therapists who have experience across schools, home health, healthcare environments, and teletherapy. You'll provide valuable services to students from transitional kindergarten through high school, fostering success and growth throughout the remainder of the academic year.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure required
• Previous school-based OT experience highly preferred (TK-12)
• Strong background in home health, healthcare settings, and/or teletherapy appreciated
• Ability to adapt interventions based on individual student needs
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Comfortable working with a diverse student population in a fast-paced setting

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive OT services onsite for 8 hours daily, Monday through Friday
• Conduct thorough student assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (educators, aides, families) to support student progress and IEP goals
• Implement evidence-based interventions, accommodations, and assistive technology to promote educational access and success
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports, meeting all compliance standards
• Support students with a variety of learning and developmental needs in both direct and consultative capacities
• Utilize teletherapy as appropriate to expand service reach and flexibility
