Step into a dynamic school-based setting near Boston, MA, where your expertise as a School Psychologist will positively influence students’ academic, emotional, and social development. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to play a vital role in supporting students, collaborating with educators, and partnering with parents to create supportive learning environments.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist credentials (state certification or eligibility required)
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience performing psychoeducational assessments and developing IEPs
  • Proficiency in individual and group counseling for students
  • Strong consultative skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in school communities
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and record-keeping abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide short-term and crisis counseling, as well as skill-building interventions
  • Consult with educators and administrators to support student learning and behavior
  • Interpret assessment results and present findings at team meetings
  • Promote safe, inclusive school climates through programming and training
  • Serve as a resource for parents and caregivers regarding student needs
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation
