Job Description
Make a meaningful impact as a school psychologist supporting students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. This full-time, contract opportunity allows you to work closely with one school in the Boston area, providing vital psychological services and collaborating with educational teams to foster positive student outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist license required
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Background in education, counseling, or psychology
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to connect with K-12 students, teachers, and families
- Commitment to ethical practices and student confidentiality
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations and assessments for learning, social, and behavioral needs
- Contribute expertise to IEP meetings and intervention planning
- Provide individual and group counseling as needed
- Consult with teachers, families, and staff to develop strategies for student success
- Offer crisis intervention and ongoing support to students
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
