This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about pediatric care within an ASD PreK setting. The position provides the chance to work closely with 6-8 students, fostering growth and communication in a nurturing environment. The school day is thoughtfully structured, with staff hours from 7:45 am to 1:30 pm and student hours from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, allowing for a focus on early learning and plenty of opportunity to collaborate with educators and families.

What we're looking for:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • School-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Passion for helping young children achieve their fullest potential

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess speech, language, and communication needs of preschool students
  • Develop and deliver targeted interventions and therapy sessions
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, aides, and other specialists
  • Engage and communicate with families to support student growth
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
