This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about pediatric care within an ASD PreK setting. The position provides the chance to work closely with 6-8 students, fostering growth and communication in a nurturing environment. The school day is thoughtfully structured, with staff hours from 7:45 am to 1:30 pm and student hours from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, allowing for a focus on early learning and plenty of opportunity to collaborate with educators and families.
What we're looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Passion for helping young children achieve their fullest potential
Key responsibilities:
- Assess speech, language, and communication needs of preschool students
- Develop and deliver targeted interventions and therapy sessions
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, aides, and other specialists
- Engage and communicate with families to support student growth
- Contribute to IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
