Take your career on the road by stepping into a dedicated School Psychologist position, offering rewarding travel opportunities and a supportive benefits package that includes non-taxable stipends, comprehensive travel assistance, healthcare coverage, 401(k) options, and lasting job security. If you’re seeking an environment that values your expertise and offers competitive perks, this could be the perfect fit for your next professional chapter.

Nestled just outside Chicago, Forest Park, IL, is a vibrant community known for its historic neighborhoods, local dining scene, and easy access to the city’s world-class attractions. Embrace the chance to experience Midwest charm while building your toolkit as a traveling professional—you’ll engage with supportive colleagues and contribute to impactful student services, all while enjoying new adventures during your time off. Exposure to different leadership styles and educational practices makes this assignment uniquely enriching, helping you grow as both a practitioner and a person.

This district-centered psychology role specializes in evaluations, with last year’s caseload involving 63 comprehensive assessments across Pre-K through 8th grade. Your focus will be on high-impact services like facilitating domain meetings, completing evaluations, overseeing the crucial Early Intervention transition process, attending MTSS referral meetings, and collaborating at the district level. Here, psychs are district-based rather than building-specific, ensuring your attention stays on major evaluation needs instead of daily student or staff concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Pre-K–8th educational settings preferred
  • Strong skills in evaluation, report writing, and meeting facilitation
  • Familiarity with EI transition and TPBA a plus
