In this district-based role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with Pre-K through 8th-grade students with a focus exclusively on evaluations, not day-to-day student management. Qualifications:

  • Active or pending Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
  • School Psychologist credentials
  • Experience conducting psychological evaluations
  • Comfort working with Pre-K through 8th grade populations

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and run domain meetings
  • Conduct evaluations for students (evals only; 63 last year)
  • Oversee early intervention (EI) transition process, including TPBA (17 last year)
  • Attend MTSS referral meetings for individual students as needed
  • Primary location at district office, no floor-level day-to-day student or staff involvement
