Make an impact throughout the academic year by providing key psychological support to students in a dynamic school setting near Forest Park, IL. This contract position is created for a dedicated School Psychologist who thrives in educational environments and is passionate about helping students achieve success both academically and emotionally.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and student evaluations
  • Collaborating with educators, counselors, and families to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Leading and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Delivering crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
  • Assisting in the development of strategies for academic and behavioral improvement
  • Promoting mental health awareness and providing resources for staff and families
  • Maintaining organized, confidential records and documentation

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid School Psychologist certification for the state
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding of federal and state special education regulations
  • Ability to assess and address a range of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Compassion and commitment to student well-being
