Make a meaningful impact supporting students with your expertise in speech-language pathology! A part-time, contract opportunity is now available for a skilled professional to provide direct, in-person SLP services at a school in the Los Angeles area. This position focuses on fostering communication growth and academic success for students across a variety of needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active California SLP license and required certifications
  • Experience working within school settings and collaborating with educational teams
  • Strong background in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
  • Skilled in providing individualized and group speech/language therapy to school-aged students
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a commitment to inclusive, student-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, on-site speech-language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations and ongoing assessments to support educational planning
  • Maintain accurate records of services, progress, and communication with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Develop engaging activities and strategies tailored for individual student goals
  • Provide consultative support and resources to classroom educators regarding speech and language needs
