In this onsite position, you will play an integral part in fostering communication skills and ensuring every student has access to essential speech-language services. With a stable 40-hour workweek and an engaging, dynamic caseload, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students thrive.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current, active California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Familiarity with SEIS is preferred
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse elementary caseload in an itinerant capacity, providing services across multiple school sites
  • Conduct comprehensive student assessments and develop individualized speech-language goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, adapting approaches to individual needs
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with families, teachers, and support staff to support student progress
  • Maintain clear and timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Travel between assigned school locations as required to provide seamless support
