Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist near Cupertino, CA. This full-time position focuses on providing essential speech and language services to a single school site, allowing you to meaningfully impact approximately 45 young learners through direct therapy, assessments, and collaborative IEP work.
What you’ll bring:
- Current and valid California SLP License (required)
- Prior experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Understanding of elementary-aged student needs
- Skillful in conducting speech/language evaluations, developing IEPs, and delivering both direct and indirect services
- Strong organizational and communication abilities, especially in multidisciplinary team environments
- Comfortable adapting to district-specific systems and protocols
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Conducting standard SLP duties, including assessments, testing, and report writing
- Providing individualized and group therapy sessions
- Leading and contributing to IEP meetings and progress reporting
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals to optimize student outcomes
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation and adhering to all district compliance requirements
Position Highlights:
- Full-time, consistent schedule at one elementary campus (36.5 hours/week)
- Contract runs from ASAP through end of school year
- Caseload capped at approximately 45 students for thoughtful case management
- Interview and onboarding conducted via Zoom for your convenience
- Supervision not required for contractors in this role
