Job Description
Pursue an exciting contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist where your skills can make a meaningful difference for students across K-12 settings near Los Angeles, CA. You’ll be working onsite full-time, providing essential speech and language services through the end of the school year. This role offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and students while developing your expertise in pediatric and school-based speech therapy.
Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress is welcome
- Demonstrated experience or training in pediatric, healthcare, and school-based SLP settings
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse K-12 student populations and school teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to assigned K-12 student caseloads onsite
- Coordinate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Complete timely and thorough documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary team planning
- Adapt therapy strategies to address the unique needs and goals of each student
- Support students’ communication skill development to foster academic and social success
