Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a diverse and collaborative K-12 environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). This role, based near Centreville, MD, covers the 2026-2027 school year with flexible full or part-time hours available. You’ll work in a district known for its support and positive culture, making a positive impact with a caseload composed of spot fill needs across multiple school sites. The high school caseload involves a self-contained classroom with moderate to severe needs, while the remainder of your work will be itinerant.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active Maryland SLP License (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Preference given to candidates with Maryland schools experience
  • Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel between sites as required
  • Demonstrated dedication to enhancing student outcomes

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language services to K-12 students across assigned schools
  • Manage a caseload with a variety of needs, including spot fills and moderate to severe disabilities
  • Work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to provide integrated support
  • Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and track student progress
  • Provide onsite direct therapy and consultation—this position does not offer remote or VOCO options
