Make a meaningful impact by providing essential speech-language services to students as a school-based SLP. Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) accepted
  • Strongly prefer candidates with prior school-based SLP experience
  • Solid understanding of IEP process, speech/language assessments, and therapy documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working collaboratively with staff, students, and families
  • Passion for empowering students with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite speech and language therapy to elementary students in both individual and group settings
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and ongoing assessments to determine students’ needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate, compliant documentation of all services and student progress
  • Work closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to create supportive learning environments
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, staff development, and school activities
  • Adhere to school policies and local, state, and federal guidelines for speech-language services
