Job Description
Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to a fulfilling contract opportunity near Elon, NC! This full-time role spans from August 18, 2026, through June 10, 2027, supporting K-12 learners across multiple schools. The position offers a dynamic blend of on-site and virtual (Voco) speech services, delivering impactful care to students throughout the school year.
Your week will be Monday through Friday, working 35 hours, allowing you to maintain a consistent, structured schedule. You will serve a diverse caseload of students, fostering communication skills vital to their academic and social success.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active North Carolina SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in school settings, preferably serving K-12 students
- Comfortable utilizing virtual platforms (Voco) for teletherapy
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students across multiple school sites
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse student population
- Maintain thorough, timely records and progress reports in compliance with state and school standards
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and related team discussions
- Adapt to a blended service model, thriving both virtually and in-person
