Key Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina SLP license required
  • ASHA CCCs strongly preferred (Clinical Fellows may also be considered)
  • Previous experience working in a school setting highly recommended
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques for diverse student needs
  • Commitment to onsite service delivery (remote/virtual options are not available)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized plans
  • Track student progress and modify interventions as needed
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal education regulations
