Key Qualifications:

  • Holds an active North Carolina SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Enthusiasm for working with elementary-aged students in a collaborative, onsite capacity

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and develop tailored IEP goals for students
  • Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services individually and in small groups, adhering to school guidelines
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary team members to support student achievement
  • Maintain clear, timely records in accordance with educational and regulatory standards
  • Participate in relevant meetings, training, and professional development activities
