Key Qualifications:
- Holds an active North Carolina SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Enthusiasm for working with elementary-aged students in a collaborative, onsite capacity
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop tailored IEP goals for students
- Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services individually and in small groups, adhering to school guidelines
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary team members to support student achievement
- Maintain clear, timely records in accordance with educational and regulatory standards
- Participate in relevant meetings, training, and professional development activities
