Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Elon, NC

Key Qualifications:

• Current North Carolina SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working in educational settings or with school-age children preferred
• Familiarity with conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and tracking student progress
• Ability to provide virtual (Voco) services across various school sites
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of K-12 students at multiple school locations
• Use evidence-based practices to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans
• Support student communication needs both in-person and virtually, working closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff
• Develop and maintain IEPs, deliver progress updates, and handle related documentation
• Attend IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development as needed
• Utilize teletherapy platforms effectively to reach students wherever they are
• Serve as an advocate for students with communication disorders, promoting inclusion within the school environment

This role offers the stability of a school-year calendar, with 35 hours per week scheduled Monday through Friday from August 18, 2026, through June 10, 2027.
