Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to the classroom and make a meaningful impact on young learners! A contract opportunity for a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist is available for the coming academic year near Bellevue, MI, focused on Pre-K and Kindergarten students. This rewarding role spans the 2026-2027 school year, running from late August through early June, with assignments finalized by August 22, 2026.

In this position, you'll have the flexibility of a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with consideration for part-time and hybrid arrangements—while maintaining a strong onsite presence. Fully remote candidates are not being considered at this time.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC required); be prepared to provide a license verification screenshot with your application.
  • Prior experience supporting Pre-K and/or Kindergarten students in a school setting preferred.
  • Skill in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders for young learners.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for fostering positive student growth within diverse classrooms.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, create and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals and ensure the best learning environment.
  • Engage students in evidence-based therapy sessions onsite, focusing on their unique developmental needs.
