This travel opportunity offers experienced pharmacists a unique chance to provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services at a well-established regional health center serving a culturally diverse and expansive community. The role involves delivering direct patient care across all age groups, including neonatal to geriatric patients, and specialized populations such as oncology and obstetrics. Work is performed on a rotating 7-on/7-off schedule with varied shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pharmacy services at the main campus and satellite clinics, ensuring adherence to established policies and high standards of care.
  • Deliver clinical pharmacy services in inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting medication therapy management and patient safety.
  • Advance through tiers of pharmacist roles, including potential leadership as an Advanced Practice Pharmacist with responsibilities for specialized clinics and clinical program development.
  • Serve in an administrative capacity as Clinic Manager of Operations, supervising pharmacy staff and overseeing program implementation aligned with organizational values.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education.
  • Current, unrestricted pharmacy license from any U.S. State, Territory, or the District of Columbia (Arizona-specific license not required).
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum two years’ experience as a Registered Pharmacist.
  • At least one year of clinical pharmacist experience preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to submit to fingerprinting clearance prior to start.

Schedule:

  • 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
  • Work week: Wednesday through Tuesday
  • Hours: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–9:00 PM; Saturday–Sunday 8:00 AM–7:00 PM

Location & Housing:

  • Position based in a culturally rich reservation area with access to comprehensive medical services.
  • Local housing is available on the reservation; alternatively, housing approximately one hour away is available in Flagstaff at $600 per month if needed.
