Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure and credentials required for school-based practice
  • Prior experience in school settings as an SLP is essential
  • Proficiency in conducting, developing, and managing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, in-person speech-language therapy services to students at the assigned campus
  • Assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs using standardized tools and observations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and actively participate in IEP meetings
  • Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of assessments, progress, and interventions
  • Consult with teachers and families to support student learning and development
  • Contribute expertise to school teams to foster inclusive education
