Empower young learners to find their voices by working as a Speech Language Pathologist in an elementary school setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality speech therapy services on-site, either full or part-time, supporting students’ growth and communication skills. Your expertise will play a crucial part in helping children succeed academically and socially.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active TX Speech Language Pathologist License required
  • Experience or comfort working with elementary school-aged children
  • Capability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Previous experience in a school environment preferred but not mandatory
  • Commitment to maintaining ethical, culturally competent, and professional practices

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site speech and language therapy to elementary students
  • Conduct student assessments and write timely, comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Develop and deliver individualized education program (IEP) goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with teachers, other specialists, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and student outcomes
  • Participate in staff meetings, IEP meetings, and ongoing professional development
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
