Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active California SLP license (non-negotiable)
  • SLP-CCC certification required
  • School-based SLP experience preferred, with a strong understanding of educational environments
  • Capable of collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success
  • Comfortable serving both elementary and middle school student populations
  • Able to work onsite exclusively; remote or hybrid is not available for this role
  • SLPA credentials not accepted for this position

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Create and implement tailored therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
  • Maintain documentation and provide updates on student progress per school and professional standards
  • Travel between two school sites as needed during the assignment
