Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, valid Texas Speech Language Pathologist license required
- Experience with elementary school-age children preferred
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong collaborative skills to work with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Effective communication and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive speech/language evaluations for assigned students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students’ needs
- Deliver direct therapy services to elementary-aged caseload in a school-based setting
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress, session notes, and reports in compliance with guidelines
- Collaborate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and progress updates
- Advise and support teachers and caregivers, offering strategies for generalization and carryover of skills
