Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current, valid Texas Speech Language Pathologist license required
  • Experience with elementary school-age children preferred
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Strong collaborative skills to work with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Effective communication and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings and comprehensive speech/language evaluations for assigned students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students’ needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services to elementary-aged caseload in a school-based setting
  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress, session notes, and reports in compliance with guidelines
  • Collaborate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and progress updates
  • Advise and support teachers and caregivers, offering strategies for generalization and carryover of skills
