School Psychologist in Chicago, IL

Take your expertise as a School Psychologist and make a real difference working with students from Pre-K through 8th grade on a dedicated contract assignment near Chicago, IL. This is a district-level position focused on comprehensive evaluations rather than daily onsite student or staff support. Located at the district office, you’ll collaborate with school teams to support educational outcomes across multiple schools.

What You'll Bring:

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Psychology endorsement (candidates with pending licenses for travel considered)
• Experience with student evaluations and running effective domain meetings
• Knowledge or background in Early Intervention (EI) transition processes and tools, including TPBA
• Comfortable working independently and supporting multiple schools within a district
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and complete student evaluations (caseload last year: 63 evals)
• Facilitate and lead domain meetings with educational teams
• Oversee EI transition processes and manage TPBA responsibilities (approx. 17 per year)
• Attend MTSS referral meetings for individual students as needed
• Maintain organizational oversight at the district office, without typical daily in-building responsibilities

Role Details:

• ASAP start, with the contract running through June 19th, 2027
• District office location—minimal or no CPI training needed due to the role’s structure
• Standard workday: 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM
