Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist license (IL Psych License required)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychology endorsement, as needed by the district
- Proven ability to administer, score, and interpret psychological and academic assessments
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Familiarity with state and federal educational regulations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Your Impactful Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students pre-K through 12
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine eligibility for special education and related services
- Provide direct counseling, consultation, and intervention services to students
- Support the development of positive behavioral supports and promote effective classroom management strategies
- Assist in crisis response, risk assessment, and conflict resolution as needed
- Participate in school-based meetings, staff development, and parent conferences
