With a full-time schedule, you’ll collaborate with supportive colleagues and may gain exposure to a range of communication disorders. This position is expected to last about two months, with a possible extension for the full school year. An SLPA will be onsite to support the caseload, ensuring a team-oriented approach. The role is strictly onsite, enhancing opportunities for hands-on collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state license for Maine or eligibility to obtain
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Prior experience in school settings preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students onsite
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams
  • Communicate progress with students, staff, and families
  • Supervise and collaborate with the onsite SLPA as needed
  • Maintain necessary documentation and compliance standards
