Key Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, with emphasis on school settings
  • Proficiency with Elementary-aged students
  • EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (recommended)
  • Ability to work 32 hours per week for the entire school year (through June 25, 2027)
  • Certification and registration appropriate to state requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-class and individual interpretation for an Elementary student
  • Facilitate effective communication between students, staff, and faculty
  • Collaborate with educators to ensure access and inclusion
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Support students' educational and social growth within the school environment
