Make an impact in the lives of elementary students as a dedicated speech-language pathologist in a vibrant school community near Waterbury, CT! We're seeking skilled and compassionate professionals for two full-time contract positions serving elementary caseloads in a supportive, collaborative environment. Ideal candidates are prepared to provide onsite services across two school sites, working 35 hours per week.

Bring your expertise and commitment to student success, collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to help students reach their fullest potential through speech and language interventions.

What You'll Need:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • School-based speech-language pathology experience
  • Active CT SLP license (having required licensure upfront is a plus)
  • Strong background in working with elementary students
  • Willingness to provide onsite services
  • Availability to work 35 hours per week
  • Flexibility to split time between two sites as needed
  • Must successfully complete district fingerprinting and background process
  • SLPAs are not eligible for these roles
  • Comfortable with remote interview via Zoom

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Travel between two assigned school sites as required
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
