Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students across K-12 for the full 2026-2027 school year. This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist assignment spans district-wide, offering the chance to provide valuable therapeutic services in a collaborative educational setting near Willimantic, CT. Working on a Monday through Friday schedule, you’ll contribute between 35 and 37.5 hours each week to help students thrive academically and socially through evidence-based speech and language interventions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Experience with K-12 student populations, including evaluation, direct therapy, and IEP development
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
  • Organizational efficiency to manage caseloads, documentation, and compliance in a school setting
  • Passion for supporting diverse learners and readiness to serve across a district

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide ongoing speech and language therapy for students with a range of needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to design targeted interventions and integrate communication goals into the classroom
  • Monitor student progress, adjust treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings as a vital team member
  • Educate and provide resources for staff and caregivers to support student growth beyond direct therapy
