Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Connecticut
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive environment for students of diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students experiencing speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and educational teams to support students' progress and educational goals
- Document services, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Provide guidance and training to staff and parents regarding speech and language development
