Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license in Connecticut
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive environment for students of diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students experiencing speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy sessions tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and educational teams to support students' progress and educational goals
  • Document services, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Provide guidance and training to staff and parents regarding speech and language development
