Inpatient Staff Pharmacist in Westwood, NJ

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a skilled pharmacist to provide inpatient pharmacy services in a hospital setting. This role requires a minimum of one year of inpatient experience and offers a reliable 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM shift.

Location: Westwood, New Jersey
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately within a hospital inpatient pharmacy
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for medication management
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor medication therapy and adjust as necessary under established protocols
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in the state of New Jersey
• At least 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR or similar electronic medical record systems
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team
• First-time travelers welcome; local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
