This opportunity is for a temporary pharmacist position based in New Bloomfield, MO, providing essential coverage from early September until a permanent hire is onboarded. The role requires a professional with recent pharmacy experience to support a smooth pharmacy operation with a focus on accuracy and patient safety.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call duties
• Pharmacy closed on all Missouri state holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pharmacist verification of technician-prepared packages flagged by InspectRx
• Handle repackaging, bag corrections, and refilling canisters as needed
• Use barcode scanning to check medications after technician filling
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff for troubleshooting and support
• Complete approximately three days of training prior to starting work

Qualifications:

• Active Missouri Board of Pharmacy licensure
• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience
• Experience in behavioral health not required due to limited order verification duties
