Special Education Teacher in Converse, TX

This position focuses on K-8th grade inclusion classes, currently working with approximately 24 students, providing meaningful, individualized instruction and assistance.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Special Education Teacher Certification
• Proven experience supporting students in an inclusion setting
• Ability to create and adapt lesson plans to meet a range of learning needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Committed to fostering an engaging and supportive classroom community

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) in accordance with state guidelines
• Work alongside general education teachers to promote full inclusion and differentiated instruction
• Monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed for success
• Provide direct instruction, accommodations, and modifications to facilitate student learning
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to parents and school teams

This assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through May 21, 2027, offering the consistency and stability to make a real difference. You’ll enjoy a regular Monday to Friday schedule, working 37.5 hours per week.
