Job Description

Make a positive impact in the school community by providing essential occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. In this onsite contract opportunity, your expertise will help support a variety of age groups with diverse needs, promoting student growth and success within an educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Occupational Therapist license required
  • Previous experience in a K-12 school environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and relevant therapy documentation
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to adapt therapy strategies to suit different learning and developmental stages

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students onsite, addressing sensory, motor, and functional skills
  • Assess and document student abilities; develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual goals
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to ensure integrated support for each child
  • Maintain compliance with state/licensure guidelines and school policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reporting as required
